Sacramento Schoolhouse Rules

If you ever visit Sacramento California, go visit “Old Town” when you are there. The unique 28-acre National Historic Landmark District and State Historic Park is located along the beautiful Sacramento River. Located with the Park are historical attractions and world-renowned museums set within the time of the California Gold Rush and the Transcontinental Railroad. One such museum is the Old Sacramento Schoolhouse Museum — a living replica of traditional one-room schoolhouses found throughout America in the late 1800s.

We found this poster of behavior rules circa 1848 when we visited the schoolhouse.
